Another 'Burgh Trip

Frank & I spent 3 days up in Pittsburgh last week. I found plane tickets for $25 each way a few months ago, so we took advantage of the super cheap fare & went to visit. It cost a grand total of $184 for us both to fly round trip!

Anyhow, we stayed at The Priory, which was great. The rates were really reasonable, they included a great continental breakfast, we could walk to tons of stuff. Plus, we like supporting local business & the place is just damn cute. If you're ever in the 'Burgh, check it out.

Despite the fact that we were in Western PA the first week of February, we had decent weather! It was really cold at night and we got a tiny bit of snow one day, but for the most part is was sunny & clear. We came home late Thurs. night & 24 hours later they were buried under 2 feet of snow from one of the worst blizzards they've ever had! Good thing we didn't stay another day.

We love it there. The people are weird & friendly, the neighborhoods are so unique, the skyline incredible. There are so many small, independently owned businesses & a wide variety of inexpensive places to eat great food & grab drinks. Plus, we can get a nice house for a really decent price.

Ho hum, ho hum, the great debate of where to move continues. I think we'll be visiting both Pittsburgh & Portland again later in the year.
